Welcome to Chapel Street Baptist Church at Armidale NSW
We are Chapel Street Baptist Church in Armidale NSW Australia. We meet each week on a Sunday morning at 10:30 am. Our services are relaxed and friendly with clear biblical teaching, prayer, and singing. Once a month we usually have a church family meal in the Church hall behind the church building. We have a number of Bible studies that run through the week and also have a prayer night on a Wednesday evening from 7pm in the Church Building. We also hold a number of other events throughout the year to reach out to our local community in Armidale where we aim to share the good news about Jesus Christ.

We take an Evangelical approach to the Bible which we see as God's authoritative Word. Accordingly, we take seriously it's contents and the implications for our lives.
We believe the good news of Jesus Christ and his death on the cross for the sins of the world, burial and resurrection is a life giving message. We are focussed on sharing this message with a lost world.
We believe that prayer is an essential part of life as a Christian. Prayer is a part of our services on a Sunday, part of our everyday life, and on a Wednesday night we pray for Armidale and the Church family.
